On November 22nd, DTU celebrated the 32nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day. On behalf of the Party and State leadership, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc awarded a Second Class Labor Medal to the DTU Provost from the State President.

“I have followed the growth of DTU since its early days. Over the last 20 years, DTU has achieved so much. The university has graduated thousands of well-qualified graduates by investing in modern facilities and offering a variety of academic programs that meet the stringent demands of the local labor market”, said Deputy Prime Minister Phuc.
Deputy Prime Minister Phuc met with DTU faculty and staff. He outlined government policy on the development of human resources.
He said: "I expect DTU to focus more on the development of highly-qualified graduates for labor market. The university needs to innovate in a disciplined way. DTU lecturers must improve their abilities to keep pace with current international educational standards."
Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President and Provost, committed to making further efforts and investing broadly to enhance the quality of education, especially in internationally-standardized programs that offer more choices to students.
